Nepal is taking on the home side Northern Territory Strike in their first match of the Top End T20 Series 2025. This is the fourth edition of the tournament and Nepal is making their first appearance in this tournament.

A total of 11 teams are participating in this series which comprises of 5 teams from Big Bash League, ‘A’ teams of Pakistan and Bangladesh, one team from USA and two state teams of Australia.

Nepal will play their first match on 15th August at DXC Arena and will start from 2:15 pm Nepali time.

Nepal vs NT Strike: Match Preview and Recent Forms

This is the first time that Nepal is playing against the Northern Territory Strike. Nepal is participating for the first time in Top End T20 Series whereas, NT Strike has participated in all the editions.

They are the champions of Top End T20 Series back in 2023. Last year, they finished fourth. During the last edition, NT Strike lost to Bangladesh A in the semi-final. In the group stage, NT Strike has won four out of the six matches to book thier place in the final. On the other hand, Nepal’s most recent T20I series was back in June against Scotland and Netherlands.

Nepal won two and lost two during that series which also includes a historic super over lost to the Netherlands. Looking at the form and Nepal’s regular training camp,

Nepal will be giving a tough fight to the home side which features few players who has already played for Australia national team and few star players from the Big Bash League as well.
