Nepal Women Football team will be taking on Sri Lanka Women in their second match of the AFC Women's Asia Cup 2026 Qualifiers. Nepal are highly motivated after a 9-0 win against Laos in the first match of the qualifiers. On the other hand, Sri Lanka lost 10-0 to the host Uzbekistan in their opening match.

Playing against Laos for the first time, Nepal totally outcasted the oponent scoring 9 goals. Skipper Sabitra Bhandari scored four goals alone for Nepal.


Nepal are placed in group F of the Qualifiers along with Laos, Sri Lanka and strong Uzbekistan. The match between Nepal women and Sri Lanka women will be played on 2nd July at Bunyodkor Stadium and will kick off at 6:15 pm Nepali time.

Nepal women and Sri Lanka women have played each other 8 times till now and all the eight matches have been won by Nepal.
