Nepal will face Hong Kong on Tuesday in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier.

The match will be played at the Terdthai Cricket Ground in Bangkok, starting at 1:50 PM local time. So far, Nepal and Hong Kong have met nine times, with Nepal winning five of those encounters. Hong Kong has come out on top in the remaining matches.

Earlier this year, in the opening match of a quadrangular series held in Uganda, Nepal lost to Hong Kong by 2 wickets. However, they bounced back strongly in the next match with a convincing 6-wicket win. Nepal will aim to maintain this momentum in the upcoming clash.

Currently, Nepal sits at the top of the points table. The first match between Nepal and Hong Kong in this tournament was washed out due to rain. In their second match, Nepal secured a dominant 9-wicket victory over Bahrain.

Hong Kong, on the other hand, has shared points in both of its matches, with their game against Bahrain also being washed out by rain. If Nepal wins this match, they will secure a spot in the Super 3 with a game to spare. A loss, however, will severely dent their qualification hopes. Therefore, Nepal will be under pressure to win.
