Nepal secured a thrilling victory over hosts Uganda in the Women's T20 International Cricket Tournament.

In the match played on Sunday, Nepal emerged victorious by one wicket. Nepal had previously suffered a six-wicket defeat against Namibia in their opening game, while Uganda had defeated Hong Kong by eight wickets.

Chasing a target of 76 runs set by Uganda, Nepal reached the total with just one ball to spare, losing nine wickets in the process.

Puja Mahato was the pick of the bowler for Nepal once again as she picked up 3 wickets in her alocated 4 over. 

With the bat, debutant Sana Praveen top scored for Nepal with 17 runs. Puja Mahato also made 16 runs to contribute in the chase.
