The Nepali cricket team is set to face the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the inaugural match of the T20I Triangular Series 2023, which also features Hong Kong. 

With the upcoming ICC T20 Cricket World Cup qualifier set to be hosted by Nepal, all three participating teams are gearing up for optimal performance

Nepal will square off against Hong Kong in the series' second match on 19th October.

Nepal's clash with the UAE is scheduled at Mulpani Cricket Ground, kicking off at 1 pm Nepali Time. All matches in this series will unfold at Mulpani Cricket Ground, except the final which will be played at the TU Cricket Ground. 

Additionally, the ICC T20 Cricket World Cup qualifier matches will also take place at Mulpani Cricket Ground.

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has unveiled an 18-member team for the tri-series. Sandeep Lamichhane is notably absent, having withdrawn due to personal reasons. 

Lalit Rajbanshi makes his return after an injury during the Asian Games. Young talents, Lokesh Bam and Surya Tamang, have been included to assess their potential.
