Nepali Football team is taking on Laos in their first leg of the FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifiers preliminary round on 12th October. The second leg will be played on October 17.

Laos are 186th in the FIFA rankings, whereas Nepal stands at the 175th spot. ANFA has revealed that the 25-member Nepali squad is presently engaged in intensive closed training sessions, overseen by the head coach, Vincenzo Aberto Ennis.

The match between Nepal and Loas will be played at Dashrath Stadium and will kick off at 5:30 pm Nepali time.
